On September 14, 2008, Surfrider San Diego hosted their 17th Annual Paddle for Clean Water. The event rallied hundreds of San Diego ocean lovers to paddle around the Ocean Beach Pier and demand clean water. During the event, Greenmatter also created a short viral video for Surfrider regarding the Toll Road Hearing in Del Mar on September 22nd, 2008.

Surfrider Foundation San Diego’s 16th Annual Paddle for Clean Water on September 16, 2007 attracted over 1,000 participants who paddled around the Ocean Beach pier in solidarity for clean water.
